“An apprenticeship can take you anywhere”, with a particular focus on higher skills to show how young people, entrepreneurs and businesses can “rise to the top” through traineeships and apprenticeships.
We are in the midst of National Apprenticeship week and here at laird Assessors, we’re extremely keen on the training and development of our staff. We’re passionate about our staff learning new skills that they can use in the workplace, everyday life to better themselves and in turn the service we provide. We feel apprenticeships are a perfect platform to allow us to train new staff from start to finish. Our ongoing recruitment drive has allowed us to recruit a number of apprentices which we hope will go on continue learning with us beyond the standard apprenticeship framework and continue with a long and progressive career throughout our company.
We see apprenticeships as much more than a 9-5 job. We see the role as a constant delivery of training specific to the industry to enable us to maintain the standards that we set. We do this by working closely with a number of apprenticeship providers and build our own internal framework of development and training specific to the role.
A number of our apprentices have progressed from administrative roles into job specific technical roles, joined us on a permanent basis and have contributed greatly to our company and ethos.
