Last week we had the pleasure of working with Pensby High School & their students during work experience week. We welcomed a group of bright minds into Lairds to help uncover what truly interests them and offer a glimpse into the world of work! As advocates of nurturing talent and fostering a passion for technology, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to share our knowledge and collaborate with these aspiring tech enthusiasts.
From the moment they stepped in, it was clear the students; Max, Arthur & Kaan were brimming with curiosity and enthusiasm. Their eagerness to learn and explore the realms of technology set the tone for an engaging and enjoyable week ahead.
Here at Lairds, we approach things a little differently as you might know. Our students weren’t just left on tea duty for the week, instead, they were presented with a variety of exciting tasks aimed to provide them with a wealth of experience across the tech field. Our aim was to help them get one step closer to discovering their true passions. From developing their own workflows to crafting their own websites, they were given the space to be creative, find what they truly enjoy & get a feel for what work can be like.
It was superb to see the transformation within Max, Arthur & Kaan. Their confidence had soared, their passion for technology had been reignited.
We are immensely proud to have played a part in shaping these future techy enthusiasts & are looking forward to hearing of their continued growth and success in the ever-evolving world of tech.
