We can’t quite believe that it’s that time of year again – Summer Meeting time! Every year at Laird Expert we hold two company meetings – a summer and Christmas one where all our Engineers come up to Head Office and we host a full days meeting for all the staff.
As we have field engineers, it’s a great way to get all the staff together to mingle and build stronger relationships. Whilst they speak to each other daily on the phone, especially the Engineer and their Logistics Coordinator, you can’t beat face to face communication!
With this years summer meeting being around the corner, next week actually, we thought it quite apt to look back at last years summer meeting.
Last year was hailed ‘Shaping Our Future’ and we did just that – we developed 5 company values that would be used going forward in everything we do – from speaking to customers to recruitment and working with our team mates. The day was really good fun, hosted by Neston Cricket Club, we participated in team building events, in various teams, and had to undertake tasks to help us build communication and support. We also worked in teams to develop the 5 company values. We felt that this way – with everyone participating in their creation, they would buy into them more.
We have in the year since, implemented these values into our daily workings and we’re really happy with how everyone has embraced them. What are they I hear you ask?! Well…
