Recruiting : Motor Engineer (VDA)

We are recruiting a motor engineer / vehicle damage assessor (VDA) to join our assessors desk-top team.

The Company

Laird provide next-generation engineering solutions from comprehensive reports through to automotive crash intelligence.  The engineer produces the report, which are enhanced and supported by a comprehensive suite of automation and artificial intelligence tools. This integration enables engineers to focus primarily on essential estimating & assessing duties rather than administrative tasks.

We are the UK’s leading independent assessors, with multiple awards for our workplace, customer service and technology.  An agile company, we pride ourselves on being at the cutting edge of engineering, working with some of the country’s largest & forward thinking car-hire, accident management, insurance & legal companies, providing them with tech that enhances their experience, significantly reduces time & pressure on their fee earners, while improving their own consumer duties.

You

The person we’re looking for must know their stuff when it comes to estimating vehicle damage, so perhaps a bodyshop estimator, independent engineer or insurance assessor.  Don’t worry about the tech side; nobody does it like we do, so we provide full training to ensure you enjoy dealing with vehicle repairs rather than copying & pasting policy numbers etc!

You must have a diligent approach to getting the job done and done right.  With fully flexible working hours, your priority will be completing reports to a high standard rather than adhering to a schedule.  You’ll be motivated to be a team player, benefiting from the cooperation & collaboration of a top company, with a can-do, results driven attitude.

Benefits

Salary £28,000 – £56,000 depending on output.  Can be varied.
