Laird Launches Fully Automated Workflow Including HITL

Laird has upgraded its SwiftCase platform with a comprehensive automated workflow that processes vehicle assessments from initial instruction through to engineer-ready reports. The system combines optical character recognition, API integrations, artificial intelligence-driven email organization, image recognition, and automated data enrichment.

Key System Features

The workflow automates mail intake and new instruction capture through OCR and APIs, automatically sorting and entering data into the customer relationship management system. Incoming messages are read, classified, and key information extracted directly into case files through AI email processing.

The platform analyzes photographs to identify vehicle specifications and damage, accelerating preliminary case management. SwiftCase compiles reports using extracted data, imagery, and structured templates. Engineers then complete quality reviews and implement necessary modifications before releasing reports, maintaining full accountability and oversight.

The enhanced system reinforces Laird's longstanding Human-in-the-Loop approach by combining automation capabilities with mandatory professional engineer verification before report release.
