On Friday we took part in the I Love Claims to Fame day. It involved dressing up as our childhood heroes to help raise money for the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
Rainbow Trust’s Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide whatever practical support is needed. They may attend hospital appointments with parents, sit by the bedside of the sick child to give parents a break and take worried siblings out for the day.
It’s a great cause and we really like to make a big effort here to do what we can in our own way. We had a number of different heroes enter the building including The Hoff, Steffi Graff, the Little Mermaid, Dorothy, a Ninja and many more!
We had a mini bake sale as well courtesy of Judith – our resident baker! She was dressed as LFC as she was a huge fan growing up!
