There are 95 companies taking part and the torch will travel 1,756 miles around the country from company to company, raising funds and awareness for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity gives individually tailored emotional and practical support to families that have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
We will be cycling the torch in fancy dress from our base in Heswall to Enterprise in Chester.
Nik Ellis MD said: “We are delighted to take part in this charity torch relay especially as the country is getting a real buzz from the Olympics at the moment. James Shields and Chris Thomas from our Business Development team will be cycling the torch to its next location on the journey. We’re really delighted to be raising money for Rainbow Trust as a lot of us at Laird Assessors have children and could only imagine the turmoil these families are facing. It’s great there is support like Rainbow Trust to help them during this time”.
Laird Assessors will also be holding a charity fun day at their offices on Pensby Road, opposite Sainsburys on Friday 27th July. They will have special guests Bungle, Zippy & George attending from the popular childrens TV show and will be selling rainbow themed cakes and sweets. If you’re in the area – feel free to pop in!
