From all at Laird we would like to say a massive Happy 1 year anniversary to Ross Connell, one of our engineers!
This is what he said about his last 1 year working at Laird:
I first applied for laird just thinking well why the hell not after trying to become a motor engineer for a while, I thought I’d give it a shot not actually thinking I would get an interview for the role. Not having done this area of work before and the relevant qualifications it was safe to say I was really nervous :/ so of course I jumped at the chance and next thing I know I was invited to a second interview with Lee and Nik.
After walking away and travelling back home I must have just walked through the front door and received a call from Lee offering the position. Being given the opportunity was such a massive thing for me and a company believing in me.
The rest is history really I have never looked back. The year has flown, just goes to show time flies when you’re having fun. you have all made me feel really welcomed and part of the team. Such a great company to be part of and I would like to say this is the first full year of many.

Ross has been with us for a year and how fast that has flew. He’s accomplished all his training and has been an ongoing attribute to the team and to the company.
