Recruitment: 2nd Line IT Support

Recruit tech 2nd line IT support

Who Are We?

Laird Assessors are the UK’s premier automotive experts, currently recruiting an experienced 2nd line IT support technician.  We work in partnership with our sister companies, Revolution Four, a digital marketing company and Swiftcase, software developers.  We’ve developed industry leading tech and systems which keeps us on the cutting edge, allowing us to give outstanding service to our clients (we’ve won plenty of awards for it)

How Do We Work?

We’re a company who likes to work hard & play hard.  We’re not a 9-5 company – more interested in getting s4!t done (& getting it done right) than clock watching.  We don’t rest on our achievements but rather strive for a mix of the Netflix / Virgin culture with a big emphasis on Kaizen

We’re quite a creative bunch, so we have existing systems that we evolve, new systems that we’re building and dreams that need bringing into reality.

Who Are We Looking For?

We need an 2nd Line IT Support with a good understanding of tech development and project management who can liaise effectively with developers, management or clients alike.  Someone with a great attitude, happy to communicate effectively.  Someone who can see projects through to completion.  When things don’t quite go according to plan, we want someone to take ownership & find solutions.

You’ll be working with a modest team of tech support & development, liaising with the system developers and other suppliers, and working alongside a small, friendly management team.

It’s quite a varied role, so we’re looking for someone who wishes to develop with us, professionally & personally.

What’s The Deal?

This is a challenging role, so needs to be rewarded well.  So apart from a great salary, around £20-25k depending on experience, plus a bonus, credit card & car mileage allowance, Apple goodies, training & development programs, a few parties & the annual ski trip.

It’s a full time, permanent position, based in Heswall, Wirral, but with a hybrid working from home if that would suit.

We are a dog-friendly office, so welcome (well behaved) canine friends.

Please email with something that’ll make us want to interview you.
