Today Laird say’s goodbye to one of its longest standing members and key players in our Work Hard, Play Harder culture!
James Shields came to Laird 13 years ago for a summer job whilst he decided what to do with his life and well, the rest is history. The company has grown from 5 members of staff to the company it is today with James being a massive part of that growth and development as his role as Business Development Manager!
There have been many an awards night, networking event or copious amounts of Golf days! As they say – 80% of business is done on the golf course; didn’t James know that!
From all the family at Laird we wish James the best of luck with his new venture and we will surely be seeing you soon for a Vin Rouge!
So today we say goodbye, or at least au revoir to James after 13 years. Over this time we have had some amazing times & fun adventures all in the name of business development of course – and it must have worked as we’ve grown from strength to strength over that time. From a professional point of view, I’ll be sad to see him go & will miss checking his credit card bill to see the various flights, hotels, restaurants & strippers he tries to slip through on expenses. James has represented Laird at so many events over the years and will be missed. Personally I think this is a great step forward in his career and I hope you’ll join me in wishing him every success in his future with Winns
