Formula 1 young driver tests are coming to Silverstone and Laird Assessors are joining in with a few select friends & clients.
This is a fantastic day as we get to see lots of F1 cars watching the Brooklands complex being handled by an F1 car is quite insane!
The F1 teams are also using this as a tyre test meaning that current F1 drivers are allowed to be in the cars to test the tyres, after the fiasco here during the British Grand Prix.
Pirelli is due to supply teams with the new tyres – a combination of the 2012 construction with the 2013 compound – at the Silverstone test on July 17-19 for the first time.
