A Huge Thank You
Woweee! What an amazing staff Christmas party we had on Friday night.
All the office staff were in attendance plus the majority of our Engineers from South & North. We piled into Franklins in Heswall at 7pm, and in true Laird style, carried on until the early hours!
The evening began with a huge thank you to 2 superstars this year. Hayley Cowle has supported numerous departments over the past 12 months . Having been with Laird for 10 years she certainly knows what’s what! We then presented Liz Bell with an equally beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank her for developing and growing the Logistics team during some periods of instability with new systems etc!
It was then time for the awards which were voted for by all Laird staff:

After the awards, we all took a moment to remember our wonderful colleague Myles Sheppick, who sadly passed away this year. Myles worked with Laird for approx 8 years and was a truly loved and respected member of the team – he would definitely have appreciated the shot of sambuca we had for him.
Along came cocktail making and lot’s of nibbles… and the rest, we’ll keep to ourselves!
We would like to take this opportunity to tell every single member of our family how truly grateful we are for you getting up every morning and coming in to work – we appreciate everything you do and we really do have a legend of a workforce!
Roll on 2016!
